Driving home on a summer evening I saw this gorgeous pair of Suffolk Punch draft horses. Glowing in the last rays of sunlight they had just finished their day's work of pulling the dump rake over the freshly mown hay. Following them was a hay bailing tractor shaping the rows of hay into compact rectangular bails. The beauty of this vision etched in my mind compelled me to paint this scene to share it with you.
