Best in Oils Award and Sale Ruth Soller - Blog
I'm thrilled to win Best in Oils Award at the 2011 Western Spirit Show and Sale at Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. Three jurors Jerry Palen, Sarah Woods, and Matt Flint agreed unanimously that my "Broomfield Grain Elevator" was the best of 200 oil paintings in the show. I'm also happy that my miniature oil painting "Budweiser Clydesdale" sold to a new collector of my work at the opening reception.
