This is my oil painting of the English Tea Rooms in Rome, Italy as seen from the Spanish Steps. At the base of the Spanish Steps is a boat-shaped fountain by Bernini. The beautiful terra cotta English Tea Rooms building glowed in the morning sun. Ferns, palms, olive and persimmon trees grew on balconies and courtyards surrounding the Tea Rooms.
